Blackburn Museum

I also thought I would visit Blackburn for more ideas, and to try and come up with a theme.

Whilst at Blackburn museum I got talking to a man who is a retired engineer of the old cotton machinery. I found the shapes really interesting within the machinery, and it was nice to have an insight into Lancashire back then.
I then saw this big painting about an old cotton mill in Blackburn, so I took close up shots of the character within the painting, I think they look really effective as individual pieces.
Finally I saw this display of old money, which are like small pieces of art in themselves.
So my theme is definitely going down a history route, but I do want to leave it open until I visit Manchester and London.

I have loads of material left over from my last project, so I am going to play about with them, with this theme in mind, but without allowing it to take over.
